Happy 1st Birthday to our sweet little girl who has grown up so much in one year! Your dad and I are so proud of you! You bless our life each day! We love you so much!

Summer Days!

 O.K. so this is my attempt to start a family blog and I must say I'm excited to get started. It will be nice to reflect on life's big and little daily happenings and share these with family and friends or just to save this for my kids. So far this has been a great start to summer. I love being home with Kendall and having the time to putter around my house so far we have had an eventful summer! This is just a small list of what has been happening in our life:

• cleaning out closets!
• organizing Kendall's wardrobe (giving clothes away to friends)
• watering flowers with Kendall's help
• Baseball games on nice summer nights
• Aarik started drivers training (yikes) he's so excited
• The birth on my nephew Dean P. Calhoun
• The loss of a great friend Frank we will miss you!

Well, I guess this sums us up for now......
